No matter what our differences in insight are, we all seem to agree...the girl needs Jesus! I was wondering, do all of you get an email everytime someone puts a message here in the blog, or am I the only one? I certainly helps in reminding me to check the blog when I get these emails. Oh, by the way, most of you know I'm in Atlanta this weekend for the book conference. I just heard Terry McMillan speak, and she is really, really funny. Everytime I saw her on TV I always thought she was quirky-strange. In person, she really is something...and she still does (though she says she's working on it) like to use that F-word. She said that she truly believes that Jasmine is saved and loves God, but she is very trifling.  I on the other hand believe she loves God but is NOT saved. That child (Jasmine) stayed trifling up to the very end, and I was so hopeful to see a true conversion in her. Don't get me wrong, she did make some improvements over her appearance in the first three chapters, but I can't say I was satisfied with her development overall as a character. And the ending? I was okay until I read the last page. Then I wanted to throw the book across the room.
